The Day of the Wedding - Preceremony

I thought about what had to be done the second I woke up from my night of hanging with the boys.  The list just grew once I received all the texts from my phone that had died in the middle of the night.  They were from Allison and my sister, Ashley.  Ashley had reminded me of writing a letter to Allison before the wedding so she may read it while getting ready.  I did not want to be to hasty about it, because this letter would be a direct reflection of my feelings for her.  Eventually three hours later I finished the hand-written love letter.
The Wedding was to be held at 4:00pm at Cedar Creek Church and was unsure if I would have enough time to finish my plans.  On my agenda, I still had to setup the wedding night, collect two pictures I had made for our donation to Operation Smile, and eat lunch with my groomsmen.  I had to be at the church for pictures along with all the other groomsmen by 2:00pm, but after my love letter was complete it was 11:00am.  I rushed to gather everything for the wedding night, then to the inn.  She was still unclear on our plans after the wedding reception.  The wedding night and honeymoon were vague pictures set in Allison's imagination by myself.  I love to surprise her.  After completing the room preparations for the wedding night, I picked up the pictures from Hobby Lobby and took them to the reception hall.
Finally, I got to relax after running all these unplanned and planned errands prior to the wedding.  I met my groomsmen at the Red Pepper Cafe for lunch.  It was great to sit around and joke with them one last time before I was married man.

The Day Before the Wedding

It started off as a normal day waking up and getting ready.  Being able to sleep in was nice though, not a single alarm to annoyingly wake myself.  Once preparing for the day, I pulled out my things-to-do list.  It was not that long, because I was able to complete majority of it yesterday, February 17.  Seeming like it would be overwhelming, Darrell Keaton stuck around and made sure I completed everything.  Eventually time passed and we all made it to the rehearsal at Cedar Creek Church.  I think everything is going to turn out great.  The sound/light operator is on key to coordinate with the videographer and the photographer.  Once all the families have finished understanding what they were to do during the wedding.  Everyone traveled to Eejays Restaurant where my family was able to share a dinner for the entire wedding party and out-of-town guests.  It was a great turn out.  The best man, my brother, Jamie Coomes made a video of Allison and my life through the ages.  It is woderful how God has brought us together.  We shared a lot of our memories through this movie he made.  Once dinner was over, everyone ventured home to enjoy a relaxing night before the day of fun and activities tomorrow.   I still can not believe I get to marry the most amazing person I know.  It is a blessing to enjoy this time with everyone and glad everyone was able to be a part of my special day!
